The
Counseling Center provides affordable family and child counseling
when you need help with relationship issues, effective
communication,
loneliness, self-esteem, loss and grief, making decisions, maritial
issues, separation and divorce. The Counseling Center offers quality
play therapy sessions for children as young five years old, assisting
the child in moving through loss, grief or trauma. The counselor and
client determine a reasonable fee that the individual or family is
able to pay. No one is turned away due to lack of funds.

is a coalition building initiative that promotes the development of

Cave Baths: Driven into the solid rock mountain side, between
1903 & 1911, specifically for the purpose of creating this unique
facility. One cave for men and another for women, each with several
huge, sunken, walk-in hot tubs filled with naturally hot mineral water
at temperatures from 104 to 112 degrees. Mineral Water Swimming
Pool: Under the translu
cent
dome lies a tropical paradise, complete with flowering plants among
live Banana and Palm Trees. The swimming pool is continually fed with
hot mineral water at 115 degrees. With an overall temperature of 90+
degrees. The pool is a favorite with adults and children of all ages.
Large modern jacuzzi tubs, set on a Redwood deck, surrounded
on three sides by a 6 foot cedar privacy fence, open to the splendor
of the unspoiled mountain side and sky above are also available. Advance
reservations are recommended for this very popular facility.
The
Main Resort Building: these rooms were originally built in 1905.
They represent the style of architecture popular for that era. Steam
radiators & 1/2 baths (toilet & sink) are reminiscent of the past
during the "Resorts" heyday, when notable personalities such as the
Roosevelt's, Jesse & Frank James & Walt Whitman came to relax and
soak in what was known as the "Saratoga of the Rockies".
Inn Rooms: These newer rooms feature a king size bed or two
double beds, shower/tub combinations, in-room coffee makers and convenient
access to the Restaurant/lounge, hot baths & swimming pool. Lodge
Rooms: Our newest addition, provides an extra level of comfort
with suites & handicap rooms. ALL rooms include: mineral water swim
pool and discounts toward hot mineral baths, massage, and return visits.
