Terri
Kirwin is a Parent Educator, Individual and Couples Counselor and
Personal Coach. She utilizes her knowledge of early childhood development
to help people become better parents, resolve inner conflict, create
healthier relationships and fulfill their dreams.
Terri teaches a seven week class called "Raising
an Emotionally Intelligent Child." Within this class, parents
learn how to handle their child's difficult emotions using reflective/empathetic
listening. Parents also practice how to coach their children in effective
problem solving skills. Terri received her Masters in Counseling Psychology
at Regis University and has a BA in Psychology from Naropa. Much of
her early childhood development education came from her post-graduate
work in integrative body-centered psychotherapy.
