Parent Services, Classes and Programs

Indigo blue Creations offers a wide range of parenting classes, gatherings and services that integrates health, wholeness and spirituality. We offer tools for developing a strong and loving connection within your self and your children while creating and incorporating family values that build upon a family-centered lifestyle that emphasizes self care.

Classes are offered depending upon the size and degree of interest. Costs for classes and gatherings range from $10 - $100 per person. If you see a class you're interested in, call us at 303-651-7083 and we'll let you know the status, location and time of the class or event.

Parent Classes & Gatherings

* 'being real' Parents Gatherings
Great food supplied by Wild Oats and Chipolte Burritos provides us an opportunity to nourish ourselves while co-creating community during the first half hour. Guilded visualizations and other relaxation techniques are introduced followed by parent sharing and consulting with a parent educator or parent coach. Facilitated the 3rd Wednesday of every month at 1620 Adkinson Street in Longmont, Colorado from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. Teleconferencing services will be available beginning in November.

*Moms Connecting with Moms
Mothers meet monthly as a group to socialize, share what works, what doesn't, learn new parenting tips, let go of old ones. Karen Alonge is a parent mentor, professional coach and mother of two. Various gatherings for offered throughout the month. Cost is based upon an offering of $10 - $15. Karen also offers a dual home support group. *"Becoming a Love & Logic Parent"
This popular six week parenting course teaches parents how to offer their kids choices while allowing life's natural consequences to provide the learning experience for their decisions. Love & Logic parenting assists parents in sharing the control within the family dynamic, creating more time for self care. Course is $99. *Raising an Emotionally Intelligent Child
Terri Kirwin teaches parents how to become your child's trusted guide and ally. In this seven week series, you will be able to teach your child how to effectively manage their emotions while setting appropriate limits for their behavior as you coach them in effective problem solving. Your children will experience feeling met and heard as you learn how to reflect their feelings and thoughts. Class costs $75. Call Terri at 720-732-4050 for schedule and location.

*Establishing your (Family) Needs and Values.

*Working with a Professional Coach
If you need assistance getting organized, defining your boundaries, setting goals and taking the appropriate action to manifest your dreams, a personal or professional coach can help. Call us and we'll assist you in determining the type of coaching that would best meet your needs or visit our alternative wellness team. Coaching fees range from $50 -$300 an hour

"TAKING CARE OF YOU"

*Cultivating Self Care thru effective communicating.
Tcha LaPlaca and Greg Sherwin introduces communication and emotional management tools to assist you in embracing and expressing your beliefs, feelings and wants. Cost is $15. See courses, classes and gatherings for details.

* Meditations, yoga, asanas, massages and breath sessions are available individually through our alternative health practitioners or in group through our courses, classes and gatherings offered at a discount to IBC members.

*Spending Time in Nature helps us be fun-loving parents. Take structured time for your self (and your family if you choose) by enjoying nature with Darryl or Tcha or more challenging adventures such as rock climbing and rafting with Ari. Group Motion with Brigetta
Surrender to the beat and high spirit energy of this magical music group. Let go of inhibitions, relax, enjoy and have fun in a group dynamic like you've never experienced before, $12 per class.

*Silk Painting Classes/ Creative Expression thru Art from Maui

Far away on a tropical island
surrounded by a shining turquoise sea deep in a lush green jungle an artist paints with wild abandon and magic is created. . Sign up in advance for Brenda's group silk painting class $125 for the day or group creative expression class $45, using brilliant colors and dynamic music to move out stuck emotions while bliss and freedom flow through.

*Getting to Know Your Inner Family

Tcha LaPlaca and Amanda Wallace introduce you to the world of the inner critic, judge and perfectionist, placater, lover and more. Understand how these archetypal energies influence your behavior as a parent and as a person. Through parts dialogue, discover how to transform sabatuers into allies while integrating your inner family to experience greater presence, peace and wholeness. *What's Eating You!

An IBC sponsored group event for adults who experience fatigue, frustration, depression, anger and occassional rage as a result of parenting. If you're not experiencing joy, it's time to release what's bothering you through this interactive process facilitated by Tcha. $35 per class.

At Home Services

* Assessing your Child's & Family's Needs
Tcha LaPlaca, Spiritual Intuitive and Holistic Healer, visits your home to work with you, your child(ren) and the family as a whole. Tcha specializes in the healing process of ADD/HD & Bi-Polar Disorder by embracing it as a family system imbalance. * Way of Council, parents, talk to your children with the support of Joan Boswell within the privacy of your own home to uncover root problems and communication break down.

What is Council?
Council is a practice of speaking and listening from the heart. Through attentive listening, council inspires a non-hierarchical form of deep communication to build trust and authentic connection. From this safe space, council provides an effective means of resolving conflicts and for discovering the deeper, often unexpressed needs of an individual or group. Call Jasmine @ 303-545-6904.
