The Boulder Waldorf Kindergarten

Phone: 303-5411-0671
As
with all Waldorf Schools, the objective is to provide a nurturing,
supportive place for children to grow, unfold and learn. The goals
of the Boulder Waldorf Kindergarten are to encourage each child's
lifelong love of learning by fostering the child's keen interest
in all that he or she encounters and to inspire the child's reverence
for all humanity and the world of nature. BWK values the gifts
that each child brings and base their education on the understanding
that the child learns best through emulating the healthy work
of adults. By engaging every aspect of the child's being, they
support the development stages necessary for positive thinking,
nurturing feelings and pupose-filled willing. With this in mind,
they strive to offer an environment which supports and nourishes
all areas of the child's development. (Shining Mountain and
Shephard Valley Waldorf Schools are also located in Boulder, CO
and all three schools nurture a rich spiritual environment).
*Special
note form IBC - BWK brings many gifts to indigo children yet
we are cautious about their intention that eliminates traditional
academics. Our experience is that it does not foster whole brain
integration, ie, without academic learning, the child's left brain
is under stimulated.
